| Its is astonishing that in the 21st century there are still zebras in existence and they have not been extinct as have so many other species. Especially given how much we delight in the brillant and unique markings of their hides as well as the fact that attempts to domesticate them always failed miserable, becuase despite its horse-like appearance, the zebra is the mist ill tempered and contrary, evil natured of the equine family. However, they have been an endless source of design inspiration; century after century, from the most primitive of times, and I imagine the earliest of decorators extolling their strong graphic handsomeness as an addition to any living space - mud hut on through. We have printed it with backbone centered across the width. For curtains it can be line up , or not, as desired, but it has no side-to-side repeat match. But then again, neither does the real thing! |
