| This exquisite design was woven in Mandlay. Three weavers worked simultneously to create its intircate geometric pattern. Because of its complexity and time to weave (under 1 inch/2.5 cm per day) it is smaller than usual, and was presumably never expected to be worn as a sarong. It can be cut for pillow covers, or hem and bunt for a wall hanging or table cloth. |
